This Privacy Policy explains how Quiz Please Limited (Hong Kong) (the “Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the mobile applications and related services (the “Apps” or the “Services”). If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Apps.

2. Scope

This Policy covers all mobile applications, websites (including quizplease.com), and related online services operated by Quiz Please Limited (collectively, the “Apps” or the “Services”). It does not cover third‑party websites or services you may access via links. This Policy covers the our mobile applications mobile game and any in‑App features we provide (e.g., in‑App purchases, analytics, crash reporting, and support). 3. Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate and improve the Apps.

3.1 Information you provide

  • Support messages you send us (e.g., your email and message content).

3.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device model, operating system/version, language, time zone, IP address, and similar technical data.
  • Approximate location (country/region inferred from IP) for analytics/fraud‑prevention; we do not collect precise GPS location.
  • Usage/telemetry: in‑App events such as level progression, timers, economy events, and feature engagement.
  • Crash/diagnostics: error logs and performance data (e.g., via Firebase Crashlytics).
  • Purchases: purchase tokens/receipts and product identifiers needed to validate transactions processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store full payment‑card data.
  • Advertising/Device identifiers: the Google Advertising ID (GAID/AAID) may be collected by analytics/attribution tools for measurement and attribution only. We do not use it for personalised ads.

We do not collect user‑generated content (UGC), camera/microphone data, contacts, or precise location.

4. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)

  • Provide and operate the Apps (performance of a contract): enable core gameplay, purchases, and support.
  • Analytics, anti‑fraud/anti‑cheat, and security (legitimate interests): understand usage, protect users and Services, and improve quality.
  • Compliance with law (legal obligation/legitimate interests): maintain records, prevent fraud, and respond to lawful requests.
  • Consent (where required): in regions that require consent (e.g., EEA/UK), we request it for analytics/identifiers and you can withdraw it at any time via device settings or by contacting us.

5. Payments and subscriptions

All purchases are processed by Google Play. Google may provide us limited information (e.g., purchase token/receipt and product ID) so we can fulfil your purchase and prevent fraud. Refunds are handled under Google Play policies.

6. SDKs and service providers (processors/partners)

We use trusted providers and share data with them only as needed:

  • Google (Firebase/Crashlytics, Google Play Services, Google Cloud) – analytics, crash reporting, infrastructure.
  • Adjust (if enabled) – mobile attribution/analytics.
  • AppsFlyer (if enabled) – mobile attribution/analytics.
  • AppLovin (MAX) (if enabled) – ad mediation/monetization analytics.
  • devtodev (if enabled) – product analytics.
  • Meta – only if you visit our social pages or follow external links (not used for in‑App ads). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.

7. International transfers

We may transfer and store information outside your country (e.g., in the EU or the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for cross‑border transfers.

8. Data retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes above and then delete or anonymise it. Typical periods: analytics/telemetry up to 24 months; crash logs up to 180 days; support tickets up to 24 months; purchase records as required by tax/audit and fraud‑prevention obligations. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 11). Upon a verifiable request, we will delete or de‑identify analytics/telemetry associated with your identifiers (e.g., GAID/AAID or Player ID), subject to legal obligations and technical feasibility.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect your information (including encryption in transit and access controls). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Children

The App is designed for a general audience and does not contain 18+ content. It is not directed to children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your region, e.g., 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from such children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it. Where required by law, minors may use the Apps only with parental consent.

11. Your rights and data deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, as well as data portability and the right to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise rights or request deletion, email mobile+support@quizplease.com. To help us locate your data (including analytics), please include your GAID/AAID or Player ID if available. We will acknowledge requests within 7 days and usually complete them within 30 days; we may request additional information to verify your identity.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or “share” personal information as defined by the CPRA and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those allowed by law. California residents may request access or deletion as above.

Brazil (LGPD)

Brazilian users have rights similar to those listed above and may contact us via mobile+support@quizplease.com.

12. Do Not Track and device settings

Your device may allow you to reset or limit the advertising ID and control analytics/consent preferences. Our Apps do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in‑App or on our website. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision.
